SOCCER – The Sheridan high school soccer teams will open the Wyoming state soccer championships tomorrow in Cheyenne.
The Lady Broncs open with Jackson at 2:00 pm while the Broncs open with Star Valley and 11:00 am.
TRACK – The three day Wyoming state track and field championships get underway tomorrow in Casper.
The Sheridan Broncs are one of the favorites for the 4-A state title going into the state meet and one Bronc thrower is ready to continue at the college level.
LOI SIGNING – Senior Matthew Ingalls has signed his letter of intent (LOI) to compete at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota.
The Senior placed 7th in the shot put at last week’s 4A east regional meet, and was 15th in the same event at last year’s outdoor state meet.
Ingalls says he plans to major in civil engineering, throw shot put and discus and maybe try the javelin and hammer throw events.
He adds it was the “team” atmosphere that won him over.
The University of Mary Marauders is an NCAA division II school and is a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers get back on the field Saturday with a road double header at Casper, they come back Sunday with a home double header with the Billings Scarlets.
