The Museum at the Bighorns has announced their November History After Dark evening program will be titled Empire of the Rising Sun.

Empire of the Rising Sun will be presented by the museum’s Executive Director Mikayla Larrow. Discussions will revolve around a time in the history of Japan leading up to the United States engagement in World War II. This event will be presented at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 12.

The Museum at the Bighorns invited everyone to discover part of our WWII’s history as they learn about the history that catapulted the United States into World War II.

This event is free to museum members and $5 per non-member.

Due to the nature of the event, masks will be required to be worn over the nose and mouth the entire duration of the presentation.

Seating is limited. Those concerned about groups are encouraged to determine their comfort level.
