City Council Awards Bid for Waste Water Treatment Plant Rehab Project

Prospect Construction, Inc, was awarded the bid for the City of Sheridan Waste Water Treatment Plant Rehabilitation Project in the amount of $8,171,540. The bid was approved during Monday night’s business meeting of the Sheridan City Council. City Utilities Director Dan Roberts said Prospect’s bid was the lowest of the five bids that the City received for the project. Roberts explains what the project entails.

Prospect’s bid came in $835,460 lower than the engineer’s estimate for the rehab project. Roberts said the project is scheduled to be complete by the summer of 2027.
