Sheridan College to Host Five Weekend Welding Information and Registration Nights
Sheridan College will host five information and registration nights in preparation for its Weekend Welding program. The events will be held May 7 and 21, June 4 and 18, and July 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. Weekend Welding classes begin July 17.
The Weekend Welding program is designed for students with busy schedules or full-time jobs and features condensed instruction on Fridays and Saturdays. This program prepares students for entry-level welding positions and allows them to earn a Welding Certificate in just one year.
Information night attendees may speak with representatives from student affairs, admissions, financial aid and the welding department to learn more about the program. Guests also may tour the college’s Technical Center, Welding Lab, meet faculty and register onsite.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) Enrollment Counselor Grace Bailey encourages anybody who is interested to attend the information nights. “Info nights are a great way to get familiar with the facilities and the instructors to see if it’s a good fit. We look forward to meeting and helping those who are interested understand the program from A to Z.” Weekend Welding students are eligible to apply for on-campus housing. Scholarships and financial aid are also available.
More information can be found at here. Individuals who have questions about the program prior to the information nights should contact CTE Counselor Grace Bailey by calling (307) 675-0504 or emailing at gbailey@sheridan.edu .
