Barrasso: Mayorkas Must Be Held Accountable With Full Impeachment Trial

U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-WY) spoke on the Senate floor Wednesday about Senate Democrats’ attempts to bury charges against Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas in order to avoid an impeachment trial. Barrasso said Secretary Mayorkas refuses to take accountability and secure the border. Instead, he continues to ignore the Constitution and existing immigration laws.
The U.S. House of Representatives is expected to present the Senate with articles of impeachment against Secretary Mayorkas next week.

If we don’t hold our elected officials accountable, they drive off the rails and crash into brick walls.
If they go un-punished for their crimes, they can sometimes think they are above the law. That’s not good for the country or our local community.
Lawlessness begets lawlessness. Just ask commish “buy me another drink” chris.
And we hear this isn’t the first time and that she’s got company.
