JCHC Board Approves Equipment Purchase for New Clinic Area
Johnson County Healthcare Center CEO Luke Senden, during the last hospital board meeting, asked the board for their approval to purchase equipment for the new clinic area that is near completion.
He explained what was needed.
Senden said the JCHC had applied for a USDA Grant for that is a 65-35% split, meaning the facility needs to spend just under $600,000 to maximize the $200,000 they received in grant funding.
Senden wanted the board’s approval to spend nearly $600,000 on equipment for the newly reconstructed areas of the facility, knowing they will receive $200,000 that would be covered by the grant, which they did approve.
