Jo Co Extension Says 4-H Programs Growing

Johnson County 4-H/Youth Development Coordinator Bryce McKenzie, in his annual report to the Johnson County Commission, detailed what the program accomplished in 2023.

McKenzie gave numbers of participants in their programs.

Mckenzie was asked to explain more about the Clover Buds program.

He said it is designed for kids ages 5 to 7 with older siblings involved in 4-H that want to be involved but are not old enough to participate in regular 4-H.

He said the Clover Buds gives those younger kids an introduction to 4-H programs.

Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Educator Micah Most also gave his annual report to the commission, and we will have that in an upcoming story.
