A Look Back in Time: Feb. 22, 1920

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Feb. 22, 1920.

A quiet dignity and impressive solemnity marked the memorial service held in late afternoon today at St. Peter’s church. The service in Sheridan was one of 8,000 held nationwide to honor the nation’s dead in the great war.

Mrs. L. C. Booth entertained at an informal 1 o’clock luncheon yesterday afternoon at her home on Sumner street.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Kelly were hosts at a perfectly appointed Washington dinner party at 5 o’clock tonight.

Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Evans left tonight for Cheyenne and Denver, combining a business and pleasure trip.
