Ethan Huckeba

Was born May 30, 1992 to Cheryl (Porath) Huckeba and Kenneth Huckeba in Lincoln Nebraska. Ethan has one older brother Quientin Huckeba and one older sister Chastity VonWonder. Ethan graduated from Northeast High School 2011. Ethan studied early childhood development at Southeast Community College. Ethan loved giving his attention to the younger generation. He worked with disadvantaged children for many years because of his love for helping the underprivileged. Ethan greatly enjoyed mixed martial arts and he was excellent in fighting. He was gifted with physical ability in athletics because he was a very determined man. Being very determined he trained daily in Athletics to be the best he could be. Ethan desired to make others feel loved, wanted and appreciated. He sought out daily to make a difference in other people’s lives. 

In 2013 Ethan moved to Sheridan Wyoming  because he fell in love with Rebekah McCartney. In 2014 Ethan and Rebekah were married in Sheridan Wyoming. They enjoyed dancing, late night walks and talking about the Scriptures. They had four beautiful children. Their children are Trinity Rose Huckeba, Hadassah Lily Huckeba, Abigail Daisy Huckeba and Tsephanyah Israel Huckeba. Ethan’s children were his absolute pride and joy. He loved wrestling with his children. As a family they enjoyed the outdoors and spent a lot of time together. During their time outdoors they went to Lake DeSmet every summer; kayaking, boating and swimming. Ethan greatly enjoyed going on bike rides with his children and playing with them at the park. Ethan greatly enjoyed camping, shooting guns and hiking in the Big Horn mountains with his family. Ethan was passionate about teaching the Scriptures to his children. He loved teaching them to memorize scripture and knowing the origins behind the Scripture. Ethan desired holiness and tried his hardest to pursue the Heavenly Father’s will in his life.  Ethan Huckeba will be greatly missed by his Family and friends. 

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Bethesda Worship Center with Pastor Scott Lee officiating.  A reception will immediately follow the service at the church.  Interment will be at 1:00 pm in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery in the Juniper Heights section.
