Penny Rosie

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Penny Ann Rosie on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. With her family by her side at her home in Sheridan, Wyoming, Penny passed peacefully at the age of 66. Penny worked for Kennon Products, INC until she retired in 2018. Penny was born on June 5th, 1954 in Port Salphur, LA to Lawrence and Winnie Barbie. Penny is preceded in death by her father Lawrence Barbie, mother Winnie Barbie, brothers Butch Barbie, and DJ Manning, first husband Everett Kibodeaux, and second husband George Wayne Rosie. She is survived by her partner Jay Allred, sisters Linda Manning and Money Sue (Richard) Daggett, brother Danny (Bonda) Barbie, sons Jonathan (Stephanie) Kidodeaux, Joshua (Candice) Kibodeaux, Derek (Tonya) Gammage, step-daughters Gayle (Scott) Beeler and Karrie Vining.
Penny leaves behind 6 grandchildren: Selena Kibodeaux, Dalton Kibodeaux, Aaron Kibodeaux, Keely Kibodeaux, and Adeline Gammage. She also leaves behind nephews and nieces including Tiffany Nelson.

Penny enjoyed fishing, taking walks, camping, and being in the garden. Also, she loved spending time with her grandkids and her 2 dogs, Cuddles and Deuter, and her bird, Ozzy Bird.

A public viewing is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, January 8th at Kane Funeral Home.
Tri Roberson will be officiating.
