CHG Annual Veterans Day Program

The Annual Clearmont Historical Group Veterans Day program will be held on November 11, beginning at 1 p.m.

The program will begin at the Clear Creek Valley Veterans Memorial and then attendees will take the short walk to the Clearmont Community Center to hear a presentation by special guest speaker H.B. Puckett, U.S. Navy, retired.

A/C Music student Jacob Carvelho will perform “Taps” at the veteran’s memorial after a brief ceremony there.

At the Clearmont Community Center, there will be special patriotic music provided by Arvada-Clearmont 7-12 music students under the direction of Kirsten Pummill, music teacher. Madeline Hutchison, A/C School Social Studies teacher, will arrange for several 7-12 student to speak as well.

The Veteran’s Day program honors all veterans in the U.S. Military, and the public is invited to attend the event.
