COMPASS Highlights Programs to Buffalo City Council
Representatives of COMPASS Center for Families came before the Buffalo City Council to thank them for their continued financial support, and to discuss some specialized programs they offer in Johnson County, in addition to their regular programs such as CASA, Family Visitation, Parent Enrichment, and Parent Liaisons.
Kim Pope, Parent Enrichment Program Manager with COMPASS, talked about one program they offer during the Christmas season.
Other programs they provide include scholarships to the Outdoor Community Pool, and partnering with the Buffalo and Kaycee FFA along with the Crisis Center to provide Thanksgiving and Christmas meals to families in need.
Pope said they could not provide these services without financial support from community members.
