Buffalo City Attorney Says Goodbye During Final City Council Meeting

Buffalo City Attorney Dennis Kirven attended his last city council meeting last week, and gave his final farewell to city government and the citizens of Buffalo.

Mayor Schrader thanked Kirven for his years of service.

City Clerk/Treasurer Julie Silbernagel said Kirven was the city attorney since the 1970’s except for a brief time when his son, Ben Kirven, held the position before he become a District Court Judge in the Fourth Judicial District.
