Deb Powell was born on September 8, 1953, to Carmella and Willie Ball in Sheridan, WY. She was part of the Thurmond St. clan of kids growing up in Sheridan. She attended Holy Name Catholic School and Sheridan High School. She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1972 and went on to Park School of Business in Denver, CO.
Deb went on from school to work in insurance as a claims’ agent with numerous insurance companies. She worked privately caring for cats and properties, and then went on to become a caregiver for others. She worked at places like NSI, The Wyoming Girls School, VOA and many independent placements.
Deb was a wonderful person who touched many lives in a very positive and profound way. She truly made a difference for countless individuals. Deb was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a fierce Christian and prayer warrior who loved God above all else. Deb love fiercely and cared deeply.
Deb had many passions and loves in her life including shopping, cats, her child and grand children, her extended family including her brother and nieces. She enjoyed the beauty of nature, reading scripture, and coffee. Deb was an excellent cook and had a fantastic sense of humor. Deb will be missed by so many.
Deb was preceded in death by her father I. W. Ball and her mother Carmella Ball. Deb is survived by her daughter Telese (Jared) Miller, her grand children, Elise, Keith, Isaiah and Patience Conant, her brother Rick (Pam) Ball, her niece Katie (Jay) Charlebois and their daughters Breann, Avery, and Kaia Charlebois.
A public viewing/ open house will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 1:00PM at Kane Funeral Home.

My sincere condolences to Deb’s family. I worked with Deb in the mid-70s at a local jewelry store. She had a heart of gold, a ready laugh and a smile.

I, too worked with Deb in the 80’at an insurance office for a couple weeks. She was a great gal and even though I haven’t seen her she will be greatly missed.

Deb was just great in all the ways! I was sad to her she passed. Prayers for comfort to friends and family that loved her and miss her.

TELESE I am sorry thaat I missed your moms funeral. I am just sick with losing her. we had alot of good times and will neer forget her. I know where she is- at the feet of the LOrd. LET YOUR SORROW TURN TO JOY KNOWING SHE IS WHERE SHE WOOULD WANT TO BE. Love you Telse
