A Look Back in Time: April 6, 1920

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on April 6, 1920.

County commissioners this afternoon adopted a resolution recommending that the state highway commission designate the road from Clearmont via Ulm to Sheridan as a state highway.

A patent granted by the United States to Jennie Tschirgi on 160 acres of land was filed in the Sheridan county clerk’s office today.

C. W. Miller of Parkman is in Sheridan. He is registered at the Sheridan Inn.

E. W. Lord is in the city from the Lord ranch at Dayton.

Carl Reeder has purchased the Fred Schaal residence on Big Horn avenue. The announcement is from the Carroll Realty Agency, through which the deal was made.
