cvannoyFor over 50 years, the Teton Science Schools in Jackson, Wyoming, have connected learners of all ages. During the last week in January and into February, (the students will leave on January 29), Tongue River 8th graders plan to take part in this year’s Teton Science School.
Susie Fisher, TRMS Science Teacher, had this to say about the Science School.
The total cost per student is $600 and students have been fundraising all year! Fisher talked about some of the things that students have been doing to raise money.
Although the students have been working hard, there are still a few 8th graders who are short of funds to attend. As there are only about two weeks before the group leaves, she talked about what would be most helpful.
This trip has been a tradition for 37 years at Tongue River Middle School and is a once in a lifetime experience. If you are able to help in any way, students will be so grateful! Use the link attached to this post to donate (it will say Veterans Memorial, but it will go towards students who need a little extra help fundraising). Below is a link for those wanting to donate or call Susie Fisher at TRMS.
