Science Kids returns to the rookery with Unplug with Discovery Sessions

Science Kids and Sheridan Community Land Trust have announced the next Unplug with Discovery Sessions is Herons at Home, Part 2, from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, at South Park in Sheridan. 

For this session, attendees will return to the rookery to see how the heron chicks are thriving in their treetop nursery in the sky. SCLT recommends dressing for weather, bring binoculars if you have them. Organizers will have binoculars as well.

The season’s final Unplug with Discovery Session is Mud, Bugs and Fish. This session is set for 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10.  Attendees are asked to meet at Monument Shelter in Kendrick Park. 

Unplug with Discovery Sessions are free to attend and fun for all ages 2 to 102.
