GPET Applications Open Oct 1.
The City of Sheridan will begin accepting applications Oct. 1 for funding through the General Purpose Excise Tax, or GPET, program.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan City Clerk Ashlee Trangmoe said the funding is available for 501c3s and government agencies to fill in the gaps of services to the public.

The process to apply, review and receive the funds can take close to a year.

Completed applications will be submitted to the Clerk’s Office to begin the GPET process. Trangmoe said she and her assistant are on hand to help with any questions applicants may have while filling out the forms. On Oct. 1 the applications will become available on the City of Sheridan website.
