Dementia Friendly Workshops Scheduled This Month at The Hub

Three workshops designed to help caregivers of those with dementia are scheduled this month at The Hub on Smith Street.

Heather Comstock, who’s a dementia care educator, will lead all three, and the workshops will be from 2 until 4 p.m. every Wednesday starting on March 11.

The first workshop, on March 11, is titled “Your Approach Matters” and will include a discussion of the impact of changes in sensory awareness as dementia progresses.

The second workshop, on coping with everyday challenges, will be on March 18, and the third, called “Working with What You Have,” will be March 25.
