Pat BlairJenny Craft, who’s executive director of the Homer A. and Mildred S. Scott Foundation, was the 2019 recipient of the Spirit of Sheridan Award.
Chamber President Sasha Johnston, who introduced the award nominees at the recent Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce awards luncheon, cited some of Craft’s activities in Sheridan.
Craft has also assisted with the Keystone awards through The Hub on Smith Street and, as a member of Sheridan Rotary, has been a provider of home-delivered meals.
Also as a member of Rotary, she’s been part of the organization’s other service projects, including serving as Inbound Exchange Student coordinator.
The Spirit of Sheridan Award honors a business or individual who volunteers countless hours for the betterment not only of the Chamber of Commerce but for the betterment of Sheridan County. The award is presented to an individual or business who demonstrates vision, ambition and drive to serve the community and the mission of the Chamber.
