Edward Legerski was born on April 1st, 1947 in Sheridan WY to George and Mary Legerski (Roswadovski).  “Eddie” was a lifelong resident of Sheridan where he attended school and enjoyed all of the outdoor adventures the area offered. Ed enlisted in the Army and served a tour in Vietnam.

Ed married Janis Legerski (Burr) on November 5, 1969, where they had 2 children: Bronco and Cory Legerski. They renewed their vows on November 12, 2012. He also has a grandson, Reno Legerski whom he shared a very special bond.

Ed had many adventures in his day. He worked for Big Horn Coal and was a plumber until he retired. The man was a master craftsman who knew no bounds. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and spent much of his downtime at the family cabin enjoying the mountains or driving the dirt roads taking in the scenery. He enjoyed tinkering on vehicles (he had many classics that he loved) and puttering around to find things to do. He was a wonderful cook and was exceptionally good at everything he did. He could even call in the camp robbers to the cabin to enjoy their company. Ed was a quiet man with more skills than a person could imagine.

Ed is preceded in death by his father George Legerski and his wife Janis Legerski.  He is survived by his mother Mary Legerski (Roswadovski), his sons Bronco and Cory (T’leye) Legerski, grandson Reno Legerski, and brother Stan (Evelyn) Legerski, sister Jane Lindstrom, and numerous nieces and nephews.

This man lived and died on his terms and will be greatly missed. There will be no services planned at this time. Champion Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements. Online condolences may be written at www.championfh.com.
