Antoinette M. Kassen

Antoinette M. Kassen, 79, of Sheridan, passed away at Westview Health Care Center on Saturday, April 18, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Kassen was born Antoinette Marie Smith on April 8, 1947 in Renton, Washington to Ernest G. Smith and Mary S. Juanes. She was raised by her stepfather John P. Pergakis and Mary S. (Juanes) Pergakis. Antoinette married Robert J. Kassen on September18, 1965 in Los Altos, California, and three children were born of that union – Robert W., Anthony G., and Johnathan J.

The things Antoinette enjoyed most was being with family and friends as well as working at the hospital.

Mrs. Kassen was predeceased by her father, Ernest G. Smith, stepfather, John P. Pergakis, mother, Mary S (Juanes) Pergakis, and husband, Robert J. Kassen. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Nanci), Anthony (Kristi), and Johnathan (Sandy), all of Sheridan; her two grandkids, Nichole (DJ), and Anthony, Jr., and her great grandkids, Remi and Ava.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Sheridan

County Memorial Hospital Foundation, the Disabled American Veterans, or to the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter.

A Rosary will be held Friday, May 8, 2026 at 4:30 PM, located at Champion Kane Funeral Home with a Service to follow officiated by Deacon Joe Kristufek. A Reception will take place in the Champion Kane Reception Hall.
