Mona V. Brown passed away peacefully, in her bed, in Sheridan, WY, on Oct 26th, 2025.

Her two children, Floyd and Monica Schuster, were with her when she took her last breath.

She was born in Sargent, VE, then grew up in Big Horn, WY. She moved to Washington State for many years, then in 1995 she moved back to Sheridan to take care of her own mother. She was the daughter of Vera Ruth Coates and Floyd Willard Coates.                                                       She loved Sheridan. As I look back on her life, it was here that she was most happy. She enjoyed participating in many areas of her life, especially the church and all the history in this beautiful area. She touched and was touched by many people here in Sheridan. She will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 31, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheridan. There will be a reception afterwards. Her burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Big Horn, WY, with a small gathering of family and close friends. Online condolences may be made to www.sheridanfuneral.com. Arrangements are under the care of Sheridan Funeral Home.
