SRD Fall Programs / Big Weekend Coming for Local Football Teams

SRD – The Sheridan Recreation District is in full fall mode with their youth and adult sports programs, Adult sports specialist Zach Stewart is hosting the 4th annual “Cornhole” classic tournament a week from Saturday at Black Tooth brewing.

And Stewart says registration is now open for both fall women’s volleyball leagues.

and finally today Rec District Director Seth Ulvestad says they have plenty of ways to sign up for activities and sports at the district.

BRONC FOOTBALL – The Sheridan broncs are back on the road this week at Cheyenne East we will have it for you on KWYO and 106.9 FM the First Federal bank and trust pregame show starts at 5:30 with kickoff at 6:00.

RAMS FOOTBALL – The Big Horn Rams host Burns Friday afternoon at 2:00.

EAGLES FOOTBALL – The Tongue River Eagles play at Newcastle Friday night at 6:00

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys play at UCONN Saturday pregame at noon kickoff at 1:30 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos host the Jets Sunday pregame at noon with kickoff at 2:00 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

VOLLEYBALL – The Lady Bronc volleyball team will play at a tournament in Casper this weekend.

The Big Horn Lady Rams host the Tongue River Lady Eagles tomorrow night, the Lady Rams will also play at the Casper invitational this weekend with the Lady Eagles playing at Sundance Saturday.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers host a pre invitational meet Friday evening then the full Sheridan invitational Saturday morning starting at 9:00.

TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams are heading to their state championships this week the state tournament starts tomorrow in Gillette.

CROSS COUNTRY – The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country runners compete at a meet in Rapid City Friday.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks are back on the home ice this week hosting games with Butte, Montana Friday and Saturday night at 7:30.
