Win or Lose, can we talk? The Center for a Vital Community wants to have a conversation
The Center for a vital Community in Sheridan and the Braver Angels are partnering to host Community Conversations, “Win or Lose. Can We talk”?
The event allows citizens to voice and hear opinions on both sides of any issue through constructive dialogue about difficult subjects, according to Director of the Center for a Vital Community Amy Albrecht.
While appearing with Albrecht on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Braver Angel member Cathi Kindt said the goal isn’t to change minds or sway any opinions, but instead to allow citizens to voice and hear both sides of hot topic issues.
To ensure there is enough time for those who wish to be heard, two discussions will take place via Zoom, Dec. 2, beginning at 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. and a second discussion Dec. 6, beginning at 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
