RENEW will have a haunted house at the RENEW building on Sheridan Avenue Friday morning.
Kimberly Lanners, who’s the organization’s chief operations officer, said the event is RENEW’s treat to the organization’s clients, but the haunted house will also be open to the public. The event is free to anyone who wants to come, but Lanners said the organization is encouraging people to wear masks.
In addition, she said, on the advice of RENEW’s attorney, and because of COVID-19, people will be asked to sign a short liability statement before going though the house.
Lanners said neither staff nor clients of RENEW have contracted COVID-19, but the organization wants to be sure that everyone is safe. The haunted house will open at 9 a.m., and Lanners said the last group will probably be taken through at 2 p.m.
Lanners said RENEW had a haunted house three years ago. She said in addition to the haunted house on Friday, RENEW clients will be treated to a party on the weekend.
