A Look Back in Time: Sept. 26, 1920

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Sept. 26, 1920.

More than 100 novices were initiated recently at Powell by members of Sheridan’s Kalif Temple shrine, which held its annual Ceremonial in the Basin city. Seventy-one of the novices were from the Sheridan temple and 33 from Billings.

Notwithstanding the cool weather, a large crowd attended the weekly municipal band concert in Pioneer Park this afternoon.

Mrs. Vernon Griffith was the honored guest at a very lovely auction bridge party given yesterday afternoon by Mrs. Clarence Wulfjen.

Members of the primary department of the Christian church were graduated to the beginners’ class today.
