Last Day for Applications for Ucross Residency Program

Today is the last day to apply for a spring 2026 residency at Ucross, the premier artist foundation. Those wishing to apply have until 11:59 p.m. MDT on Tuesday, July 15.

At Ucross, they foster the creative spirit in working artists by providing uninterrupted time and space. Each Fellow receives a private studio space, living accommodations, meals prepared by our professional chef, and staff support, all with the unparalleled experience of the majestic High Plains on our 20,000-acre ranch in northern Wyoming.

The Spring 2026 session runs from early February through early June; residencies are two, four, or six weeks in length. At any one time, there are up to ten artists in residence.

They are accepting applications from writers, visual and interdisciplinary artists, choreographers, composers, and performing artists, as well as collaborative teams. They are also accepting applications for the Native American Visual Artists and Writers.
