SPD: Be Aware of Dead Swede Routes 

Sheridan Police Department Chief Travis Koltiska and Captain Tom Ringley appeared on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse discussing the many upcoming events that are scheduled to take place in the city. 

The SPD Captain said now that summer has officially started, traffic will likely increase throughout the city. This coming weekend specifically, will see the Dead Swede Gravel Race when over a thousand endurance cyclists, both local and from all over the nation, put their bodies to the test. 

Many of these riders also bring friends and family for support and encouragement. Organizers have routes posted on their website, click here. Ringley asks residents to please be patient and plan ahead should you need to travel on one of these routes as bikes will line the roads and streets as the racers begin to space out. Many of the routes will begin and end at Kendrick Park in Sheridan.
