Sheridan Commission OKs Public Sign-In Sheet

Those attending Sheridan County Commissioner meetings will now have the opportunity to sign in to speak on whichever subject they choose on the agenda, after adding a sign-in sheet was approved by the commission during their last meeting.
Once the motion to approve was made, Commissioner Holly Jennings suggested an amendment to the motion.
Commission Chairman Lonnie Wright explained the request on the sheet to “be concise and stay on topic.”
The commission voted to approve the use of the Public Comment Sign-In Sheet with the amendment.

Maybe they should just post a big sign that says: Sit Down, Shut Up and Don’t Bother Us……Please.
The First Amendment is listed First for a reason. It’s primary to a free, self-governing people, that they are Entitled to speak their mind to our tax-payer funded, public servants.
As long as they are taking our hard-earned cash, they will listen to anything we have to say.
They topic is always:
FREEDOM!!

I was at the audit meeting last week when only one person had signed up to talk. She came very prepared and asked if the deficiencies from the previous year had been corrected by the deadline. Mr. Wright made it a point to inform her she had the three minute new policy. Unfortunately the auditor used that time up explaining the background, which the lady already knew. Mr. Wright apparently had been watching his stopwatch and said he had graciously added an additional two minutes. The answer had not been given, but that didn’t phase Commissioner Wright from adhering to his new rules. I believe Mr. Duff did quickly reply with a yes. Commissioner Jennings was proven correct on her question of free speech

Maybe we should DOGE our county. Could there be some fraud, waste and abuse of our hard-earned tax-dollars?
And Commissioner Jennings is Always right!
Both politically and factually.
That’s why the “failed four” commissioners (now just 3) tried so hard to illegally block her from the Board. They didn’t want an honest broker to disrupt their nefarious activities.
As our President might say, “How’d that work out for ya?”

Maybe our new rule should be a two-term limit on commissioners.
Those politicians who refuse to listen to their masters, the American People, will be voted out of office.
Nov. 5th was just the beginning of our counter-revolution, to restore our Constitutional Republic.
Fight, Fight, Fight.
In a legal, verbal sense of course.
Maybe if 100 people use their 5 minutes to object to the new sign-up sheet and time limits, we can restore the First Amendment.

Commissioner Wright said it is now 3 minutes. He does need to be reminded who he works for and if someone who legitimately voices a concern, I expect Commissioner Wright not be so rude next time

Don’t count on it. He was one of the four commissioners who broke the law, by failing to choose one of the three Party nominees to fill the vacancy a few years ago.
RINO’s, like liberal dems have no core values. They only follow the “ends justify the means” mantra of marxism.
Limiting our time to speak will only grow the demand to replace him.
Can commissioners be re-called in mid-term?
