Western Art Will Take Center Stage During Ucross Gala

The Ucross Foundation is preparing for its annual Ucross Gala, which will feature performances and appearances by Ucross artist-alumni along with live and silent auctions. 

Ucross Foundation Communications Associate Emi Whiting made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse and said along with seven other returning alumni, composer, songwriter and producer Jesse Rundle of Boise, Idaho, will perform during the event, while painter Tracy Stuckey, the latest artist featured in the Big Red Showcase, will be painting during the event. The finished painting will be part of the live auction and works from other Ucross alumni will be part of the silent auction.

The Ucross Gala will also honor longtime supporter of the arts Naoma Tate.

The Gala serves as a fundraiser supporting Ucross and its work with artists who come to Wyoming from around the world to find inspiration and to focus on creating art, music, literature and refined performance.
