The Johnson County Tourism Association (JCTA) is having a photo contest with the winning images to be featured on banners that will be displayed in downtown Buffalo.

The JCTA is seeking images from around the county including Crazy Woman Canyon, Lake DeSmet, Hole in the Wall, Clear Creek, and Circle Park

According to a release from the JCTA, they will accept entries via email at info.jctawy@gmail.com from now through Monday, May 6.

Photos will be posted on the JCTA Facebook page for a popular vote.

The photographer whose image receives the most votes will be awarded a $25 gift card, with an announcement to be made during National Travel and Tourism Week, which begins May 19.

Photographers may submit up to two photos of each of the five locations.

Entries will be accepted from both Johnson County residents and visitors.

The banners will encourage visitors to downtown Buffalo to learn more about the recreational opportunities throughout the county and to stay longer to enjoy those places.
