Creekside Performing Arts to Present Cabaret April 26 & 27

Buffalo’s Creekside Performing Arts will present a Cabaret of Collected Favorites April 26 and 27 at the Cowboy Carousel Center in Buffalo.

The presentation, Directed by Lindy Erschabek, will feature Piano Accompaniment by Juli Jarvis, with performances by Erschabek, Justin Waterson, Jackie Galli, Jim Roberts, Jeremy Jarvis, Gwenivere Erschabek, Alaska Hunt, Dakota Hunt, Georgia Hunt and Carolina Hunt.

According to a release from Creekside, Cabaret is a form of theatrical entertainment featuring music, song, dance, skits, recitation, comedy or drama. The performance venue might be a Pub, casino, hotel, restaurant, or a nightclub with a stage for performances.

The audience, often dining or drinking, does not typically dance but usually sits at tables.

Performances are usually introduced by a master of ceremonies.

The entertainment is performed by an ensemble of actors with a pianist.

The performances will be next Friday at 7 p.m. with a 2 p.m. matinee performace on Saturday at the Cowboy Carousel Center, located at 59 N. Lobban Ave.

Admission is $5 at the door, children five and under are free.
