Aaron PalmerBuffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett, during his recent report to the city council, spoke highly of the TAC*ONE training at local schools, saying it is a benefit for law enforcement who participate, and that he would like to see it continue.
Bissett said the Child Protection Team, made up of himself, Sheriff Rod Odenbach and other investigators, has unfortunately been busy lately, with cases involving children.
A number of investigations happened during the month of March and are ongoing.
He also reported that as of the end of March, dispatch received 2,268 total calls with 157 coming into the Emergency 9-1-1 system.
Officers responded to and handled 528 calls, resulting in five arrests.
