Buffalo Building Inspector on Boundaries, New Construction

Buffalo Building Inspector Terry Asay, in his latest report to the city council, said he will be working with the Department of Commerce and the US Census Bureau to update the city’s boundaries, which is an annual request by them.

He said updating the information will be much easier once they get their software updated.

Asay also reported that commercial building in the city will be busy this coming construction season.

Asay said residential construction is “pretty slow” at the moment, but he said there are some developers talking to him about the possibility.
