Jo Co Comm Makes Board Appointments

Johnson County’s Commissioners, at their regular meeting Tuesday, made appointments to various county boards with open seats, after appointing themselves as liaisons to ancillary boards.

Also approved were Lacey Schiffer to the Fair Board; Jody Saures and Clay Miller to the Lodging Tax Board; Jeremiah Wolski to the Planning Commission; Jim Gripp and Timothy Peterson to sportsman’s seats on the Predator Control Board; David Smith to the Recycle Board; and David Smith and David Iverson to the Solid Waste Board.

The commission will continue to advertise openings on the Airport Board, Fair Board and the Planning Commission.
