JCHC Board Discusses, Hires Rehab Provider

The hospital board of trustees for the Johnson County Healthcare Center had discussions concerning a proposed new physical therapy rehabilitation service to be offered in the facility.
The board approved CEO Luke Senden to enter into a contract with Inspire Rehabilitation to provide and oversee services in the center.
Board President Dr. Mark Schueler explained that the company provides marketing, data collection, a more efficient scheduling model, and coding features that can maximize revenue.
Schueler discussed the proposed agreement with the company, saying it looked to be a positive thing for the JCHC.
According to Inspire’s website, they improve rural hospitals’ efficencies and capabilities by delivering solutions that deliver professional therapy expertise and management experience.
Senden said the previous hospital he worked for saw about a 60% growth in therapy within a 12-month period.
Schueler said Inspire can make the hospital’s physical therapy department be more competitive in the market.
