A big mass meeting of Sheridan county Democrats will meet at 8 o’clock tonight in the Gem theater. Among those present will be Wade H. Fowler of Douglas, Democratic candidate for Congress, and W. B. Ross of Cheyenne, candidate for presidential elector.
Fifty-one hundredths of an inch of rain fell between midnight and 6 o’clock this morning, according to the local weather bureau. It was the first rain of any consequence in the last seven weeks.
The new ornamental light posts on Main street have been taken from their boxes to allow connections to be made.
Real estate men in Sheridan report the housing situation is serious, with demand far exceeding the supply.
