Laurelie Pryor

Laurelie Pryor (Hudie) passed on July 28, 2024, in Buffalo, WY at Johnson County Healthcare Center at the age of 84 years.

Laurelie was born in Gordon, Nebraska, to Fay and Ehrma (Beutler) Steinhaus. As a young girl, she visited Buffalo which created fond memories, and she always wanted to live in Buffalo.

In 1985, she met Jerry Pryor in Buffalo, Wyoming, and they were married shortly after that for nearly 35 years.

Laurelie was preceded in death by husband Jerry Pryor, sons Brian Eby and Eddie Eby, and first husband Earl Eby.

She is survived and will be sadly missed by her daughter, Amber Haverlock (& Ron Haverlock) and granddaughter Angela Deyling (& Matt Deyling) great-grandchildren Cole and Amelia Deyling, sister Peggy Gonzales and nephew Andy Gonzales.

She enjoyed gardening in the summer, crocheting in the winter, and was a SPECIAL lady to all who knew her. Her collection of little skunk figurines was a well-known hobby, and she was known for giving little gifts when they were least expected. She was an avid reader, keeping Amie Holt staff running to the Library to satisfy her unquenchable desire for mystery novels. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. A memorial will be held at a later date.
