As of Tuesday night, no additional COVID-19 cases had been reported in Sheridan, leaving the number of cases at 12.

To date, just over 460 tests have been performed, with 12 positive cases, just over 400 negative cases. Results of the other tests are pending.

Ten of the cases have recovered, and no one has been hospitalized.

The county’s Incident Management Team continues to remind people of the importance of social distancing to help slow the spread of the virus. Social distancing means minimizing close contact with people other than your immediate family members.

You should not be within six feet with someone for longer than 10 minutes in a small room, small space or across from tables or desks.

COVID-19 is considered transmissible up to 48 hours prior to the onset of symptoms.
