VOA Empty Bowl April 18

The Volunteers of America will hold their Empty Bowl fundraising celebration from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds.

Senior Director of Development for the VOA of the Northern Rockies, Kelly Folsom, made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to speak on the upcoming event.

Bowls have traditionally been a highlight of this event. Many have been made by hand and decorated just for the event, then donated by local Sheridan County schools such as Sheridan College, Big Horn High School, and Sheridan High School.

The event will also include games for the kids, chances to win prizes and a gun raffle thanks to Weatherby Inc.

All proceeds will go directly to support Homeless Services impacting Sheridan and Johnson Counties.
