Aaron PalmerThe Buffalo City Council has voted to rescind their contract with Buffalo Kennel Club to provide animal care services for the city, on the recommendation of City Attorney Dennis Kirven.
The contract was approved earlier this month for the Buffalo Kannel Club to provide sheltering and care for those dogs picked up by Buffalo Police officers.
Kirven explained that his original recommendation to the city to approve the contract was based on incomplete information he had on the situation.
The council voted to rescind the contract with the Buffalo Kennel Club and approved the city to ask for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to provide the services to the city.
