Parks & Rec Board Gives NOI on Rules, Regs for Centennial Park

The Sheridan County Parks and Recreation Board has issued a Notice of Intent (NOI) to adopt new rules and regulations governing the public use of Story Centennial Park.

In a release issued by the Sheridan County Commission, the stated purpose of the rules is to provide for the governance and preservation of the Story Centennial Park for the recreational enjoyment of the public.

Copies of the proposed rules are available from the Sheridan County Business Office, Suite 201, in the Courthouse Addition.

They may also be viewed on the County website.

Written comments on the proposed rules may be submitted by the public to the Sheridan County Parks and Recreation Board of Trustees.

A public hearing to receive oral comments on the proposed rules will be held on January 9, 2024, at 4:30 p.m., in Room 210 of the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition.

The Board will consider adoption of the proposed rules at its regular meeting commencing at 4:30 p.m.

Written comments can be submitted to the Sheridan County Parks and Recreation Board of Trustees, 224 S. Main Street, Sheridan, WY 82801, or emailed to cbeaver@sheridancountywy.gov on or before January 8, 2024.
