Sheridan Media will present Sheridan Community Land Trust In Bloom on Saturday, Sept. 9, at the Whitney Center for the Arts at Sheridan College.
The evening will begin with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 9, in the Whitney Center for the Arts lobby. The program will begin at 7:30 p.m.
SCLT Executive Director Brad Bauer told listeners of Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse about the event and this year’s special guest speaker.
Dr. Matthew Kauffman will be available to not only tell amazing stories regarding the Migration Initiative but also answer questions.
Bauer also spoke on the priority at SCLT to keep the event open to the public.
According to SCLT Director of Marketing and Development Chris Vrba, everyone in attendance at In Bloom will be eligible for the door prize.
The evening will include a live & silent auction featuring many fun items and experiences.
Included in the auction this year is a handmade US flag from 200-year-old red oak by Brian Nix, four hand-tied salmon flies by Frank F. Johnson, a Weatherby Element® Bottomland 12-gauge shotgun and a day of watching polo for six from the Big Horn Equestrian Club.
A paddle raise will also be held to connect people to land, history, the outdoors and the places they love in Sheridan County.
