Elmer, Harmon lead Sheridan racers

Justin Elmer of Sheridan won the Wissota Midwest Modified feature race in the Sheridan Speedway points championship night.

Justin Elmer and Kholin Harmon won their respective features to lead several Sheridan County racers in the Sheridan Speedway season championships Sunday. Elmer won in Wissota Midwest Modified and Harmon won in Wissota Street Stock.

Sheridan’s Griffen Switzenberg, Chad Switzenberg and Justin Will finished fourth, eighth and ninth in the Midwest Modified feature. Chad started 13th. Bernard Fischer of Sheridan placed third in the IMCA Modified feature followed by Donnie Goodman of Sheridan in fifth. Chad Kordus of Ranchester did not start the feature.

Chris Uroszek of Sheridan finished second in street stock followed by Steve Snyder of Story, fourth, and Braxton Harmon, fifth.

Trevor Clark of Sheridan finished second in the Rocky Mountain Hardtops feature followed by Butch Kennedy of Banner, fifth, and Charlie Floates of Sheridan, sixth. Cole Kennedy of Banner did not finish.

Dean McCalla of Sheridan finished seventh in the Wissota Mod Four feature.

The other feature winners were Kyle Anton of Gillette in IMCA Modified, Tyler Sikkenga of Gillette in Wissota Mod Four, Matt Brown of Casper in Rocky Mountain Hardtops, and Robert Donmyer of Gillette in IMCA Sport Compact.
