Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Jan. 30, 1920.

—————————————————-

Ernest Blanchard Williams, a pioneer of the Sheridan country, died at the state hospital here at 4:30 o’clock this morning. Death was the result of a cancer with which he had been suffering since the latter part of December.

Some 35 couples attended the Sugar Boys Club dance at the Odd Fellows Hall last night. The Lucas Jazz Band provided the music for the occasion, and played several new selections for the first time.

H. A. Loucks is confined to his home on account of illness.

Ladies’ coats are sale priced at $12.75 and $13.88 at the Golden Rule store.
