Mayor Discusses Mural on Buffalo City Hall

Buffalo Mayor Shane Schrader sat down with Sheridan Media to talk about the new mural on city hall.

The mural is one of three projects completed by HGTV as part of their new series Hometown Kickstart Presented by People Magazine which is scheduled to premier later in April on the network.

The three projects included a home renovation, a business renovation, and a community project.

Schrader said the mural wasn’t the original choice for the community project, and explains what happened.

Schrader said Eric Burden was the contractor that was overseeing the three projects in Buffalo while HGTV crews were here.

The business that was renovated was the Buffalo Theater, according to an HGTV teaser video that has recently been shared on social media.
