Four Sheridan HS runners put their “differences” together, so to speak, to become one of the best in the USA.

The Sheridan HS Boys 1600 meter Sprint Medley Relay Team, composed of Chance Morris, Maddax Jarvis, Rudy Green and Ryder Charest, placed 1st at the 2025 Nike Outdoor National Track and Field Meet in Eugene, Oregon.

Their time was 3 minutes 32.41 seconds, winning by 0.52 seconds.

In the 1600 meter Sprint Medley Relay, runners run different distances.

The first 2 runners run 200 meters each (1/2 lap), the third runner runs 400 meters (1 full lap), and the final runner runs 800 meters (2 full laps).

Jarvis and Charest were members of the Broncs’ 4A Boys State Champion 1600 SMR relay team at the Wyoming State Meet in Casper, along with Gabe Perkins and Garrett Otto.
