Marilyn Esther Siruta
Marilyn Esther Siruta, 85, of Sheridan, Wyoming, passed away on March 10, 2026.
Marilyn lived a life defined by faith, resilience, and devotion to those she loved. A nurse, rancher, mother, and grandmother, she spent her life caring for others—whether tending to elderly patients who needed comfort, raising her family with strength and determination, or working the land and caring for animals. Through every season of life, her faith in God remained the foundation that guided her.
Those who knew Marilyn remember a woman of remarkable strength and character. She was headstrong in the best sense of the word—determined, tenacious, and unwavering when it came to protecting and supporting her family. Even in the hardest of times, Marilyn persevered where others might have faltered. Her wisdom, shaped by both faith and experience, often lifted the spirits of those around her.
Marilyn’s greatest joy was her family. Her love for them was steady and enduring, and it gave her strength throughout life’s many challenges. She carried that same compassion into every part of her life, offering kindness, encouragement, and care to the people and animals entrusted to her.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Brad; her daughter, Cynthia; and many beloved grandchildren who will continue to carry her legacy forward. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, and her parents.
She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her fierce love for her family, her compassion for others, and the quiet strength that defined the way she lived her life.
