Cody Austin Weaver
Cody Austin Weaver, of Ranchester, Wyoming, passed away on July 31, 2025, at the young age of 25.
Cody was born on October 2, 1999, to Travis Weaver and Janet Weaver in Vinita, Oklahoma.
Cody’s favorite sport was baseball, and his favorite team was the Cardinals. He played baseball from T-ball all the way to his senior year of high school. Baseball was not just a sport to Cody, but the thing he and his dad bonded over the most, including construction. While in high school, he discovered his passion for construction, and when he graduated, he continued that passion by starting a construction company with his father, Travis Weaver, who sadly passed away in 2022. Cody was a very proud owner of Weaver Construction. He went on to build multiple subdivisions in Ranchester, Wyoming, and after his dad’s passing, he reopened Weaver Construction and renamed his company Weaver Builders and Excavation. Then he started doing spec houses in the Powder Horn of Sheridan, Wyoming.
Cody impacted many lives daily and carried a smile everywhere he went, even when having a bad day. Cody sadly passed away due to complications of Type One diabetes. He leaves behind a beautiful 3-year-old baby. Cody prioritized Christmas shopping with his wife for his son every Christmas, even after their separation. Cody loved baseball and was loved by many.
He is preceded in death by his father, Travis Weaver, and his grandmother, Nancy Weaver. Cody is survived by his wife, Kiara-Kay Neill-Weaver, and his son, Zander Rawlins Neill-Weaver, of Douglas, Wyoming. His mother, Janet Weaver, of Sheridan, Wyoming; his brother, Brian Cummings, of Sheridan, Wyoming; his brother, Dereck, and his wife, Wendy Roofe; his grandma, Ruth; and multiple aunts and uncles of the Oglala Sioux Tribe of South Dakota. He had one nephew, Ty Roofe, and a best friend who was more like a brother, Jarred Roberts. He is also survived by Don Evans, William Truax, Kaleb Anthony, Colter Swan, Vincent Cossel, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The Celebration Of Life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00 am, at Champion Kane Funeral Home, with a Nacho Bar one of Cody’s favorites will be serviced right after the service. If you are unable to attend, please click on the link below at 5 till 11:00am.
